(This class will meet at the Girard Public Library, call for details) March 26, Tues. 10-2 pm PAINTING ON GLASS for a stained-glass look. $28 (Note: The following 4 classes coincide with the Wildflower Festival Month in Elkhart) April 6, Sat. 1 - 4 pm Watercolor painting of black-eyed Susan wildflowers and wren. Mat or frame with glass included. $25 April 13, Sat. 10 - 3 pm Jack-in-the-pulpit woodland wildflower. Acrylic on 18”X18” canvas. $35 April 20, Sat. 1am - 4 pm Guest artist, Jody Phillips will present the watercolor class for painting the Purple Cone Flower. A songbird may be included in this painting. Mat or frame with glass included. $25 April 27, Sat. Guest artist, Jody Phillips will direct the lesson Painting on Glass. The Blue Flag Iris is the subject for this stunning (and easy!) technique that achieves the look of stained glass. $32 April 10, Wed. 10 - 2 pm A painting of piglets and geraniums. Acrylic 16”X20” $32 April 17, Wed. 10 - 2 pm Painting wildlife Learn how to paint fur and eyes on an animal while painting this adorable panda. Acrylic 18”X18” $35 Great gift for the grandkids! Acrylic on 18”X24” canvas $38 May 2, Thur. 10 - 2 pm EXPLORING COLOR: Learn the basics by making a color wheel and charts for mixing primary and secondary colors, tints and shades and complementary colors. $25 May 8, Wed. 10 - 2 pm WATERCOLOR painting with songbird. Learn about wet wash and dry brush techniques. Choose from a selection of frames to complement your painting. 8X10-11X14. $25 May 14, Tues. 10 - 2 pm Painting poppies. Explore wet wash techniques and transparencies using acrylic paint on 16X20 watercolor paper. $28 May 15, Wed. 10 - 2 pm Repeat of above listed class painting poppies. (This class will meet at the Girard Public Library, call for details.) May 22, Wed. 10 - 2 pm PRINTMAKING Design and cut your original lino plate to make greeting cards for all occasions. $25 June 4, Tues. 1 pm - 6 pm AN AFTERNOON WITH WINE AND CHEESE. Come and enjoy the afternoon painting this lovely Tuscan landscape with sun baked red-roofed buildings, cypress trees and poppies. Bring a bottle of your favorite wine or beverage. Coffee, cheese and crackers provided. Acrylic on canvas 18X24 $38 July 30, Tues. 10 - 2 pm Portrait of a little girl and her dog. Explore a variety of textures. We will use a projector for the initial drawing.
